MEET THE BEATLES FIRST CAPITAL ALBUM --AUTOGRAPHED--
It is titled Meet The Beatles! The First Album by England's Phenomenal Pop Combo. This was the first Beatles album Capital Records produced. I can't find a date, but, noted in the introduction on the back of the album cover it says, that a year ago the Beatles were only known to patrons of Liverpool pubs. The number T 2047 is seen on the album and the cover. The songs include I Want To Hold Your Hand , I Saw Her Standing There, and more. A total of 12 songs. The front of album shows head shots of all 4 band members and on the back are signatures of all four Beatles. I have no documentation of authenticity, I bought a collection of albums in the early 70s and they have been in storage until just recently, that is when I discovered the signatures. At some point early on someone has taped all of the edges and covered the signatures with tape as well. They were probably thinking the tape would protect it. It has since yellowed. Both the cover and the album shows some wear.

1935 CUBAN COMPACT GIVEN TO MISS TN
|
1935 CUBAN COMPACT GIVEN TO MISS TN This is a unique if not a one of a kind compact that was presented to Miss Tennessee in 1935 at the International Radio Party in Havana. It is in its original box stamped on the lid of the box reads : "LE TRIANON" JOYERIA, OBJESTOS DI ART F AVE. ITALIA, 91 HABANA. On the front of the compact is a crest and some initials I'm not sure what letters they are. On the back of the compact is stamped Cuban Tourist Commission in a circle with a T in the middle, and International Radio Party Havana - 1935. It appears the sides and top are trimmed in a tortoise shell enamel. The enamel on the sides have some chipping. The mirror inside is beveled and in good shape. There is also a few crumbs of the makeup left, the compact has been used.
